A little bit about where you will be working...

The Police National Computer (PNC) is one of the UK’s critical national law enforcement data systems. The implementation of the Law Enforcement Data Service (LEDS) by the National Law Enforcement Data Programme (NLEDP) will replace the PNC and develop new data services. The programme will deliver a range of benefits, principally the avoidance of future running costs associated with PNC, but also substantial end user efficiency and effectiveness benefits. 


🚀 What you'll be doing 🚀

You will identify opportunities for improving business outcomes and enhancing benefits, looking to continuously improve the quality, capability, and efficiency of your product.

 You will have the final say on quality and whether something is ready to be released into production. You may be asked either to be responsible for a single, complex, large product, or multiple related products.

In addition, you may line manage, coach and mentor Associate Product Managers and Product Managers, and be involved in recruitment related processes.


👀 About you 👀 

You’ll have a demonstrable passion for Product with the following skills or strong experience in:

  • Investigating patterns and trends identify and resolve problems.
  • Working in the delivery of technology-based projects.
  • Budgeting and financial control skills as well as commercial awareness.
  • Communicating using a variety of methods (written reports, verbal feedback, presentations etc.), applying the appropriate method to each scenario/audience, which at this level, will usually be large groups.
  • Leading in promoting the needs of the team, and of the product; understanding how these may vary between the different phases of a product lifecycle.
